![]() ![]() The third temple is to the west, but you'll need to build a transport to ferry a force over to the side, deal with all the jaguars here, and garrison the relic. I built a castle at the crossroads here to bolster my forces and produce petards, which I used to demolish the castle and the west gates of Tepanaca. The latter has a castle and more impressive force to array against you, but by now you're an old hat at this. Using a few siege units (I used catapults) and your infantry force, steamroll Tlatiluco and Xochimilco. You'll basically face next to no opposition (or none your towers can't handle.) Get a force together and move west, capturing your first temple and building a priest to garrison the relic, and do the same with the second site further west and south. To start off with, build your economy and tech up to the Castle Age. You have enemies to the west, southwest, and north to start with avoid doing anything to piss off the Xochimilco (purple) to the north, as they are seriously dangerous compared to the other two. You're restricted to a small population and the castle age, and you can't build new temples to replace the ones that are destroyed, so make sure before you make a play for one that you have enough forces to fortify it. As the Aztecs, your goal this mission is to capture four shrines scattered around the map and place a relic in each. There is one mission-specific achievement. In this campaign, you'll play as 16th-century Aztecs. ![]()
